WELCOME TO THE BLOG OF GAY YOGA GROUP

My name is Abdul Helal and I welcome you to the official blog of the gay yoga group. I'm in 2004 in Berlin, the gay yoga group launched, which I lead and teach ever since. The idea of a yoga group to provide only for gay men I had during my training as a yoga teacher. At that time, yoga classes attended mainly by women and it was extremely rare among the few men who encountered it in a yoga class to find a gay man. The first course of the gay yoga group in 2004 was a very short time and well attended regularly, so that more courses followed in no time. Today in 2009, I offer seven weekly courses in five districts of Berlin.

From the beginning, distinguished the group of other gay Yoga Yoga classes: The atmosphere in the courses is humorous, open and relaxed. The participants come together to practice yoga to know, but also with like-minded people: now can speak of a small private Communtity are that it allows the practice of yoga out to make friends and make new friends.

This blog is a continuation of the idea, "gay yoga group. Yoga is more than a physical exercise, it is a philosophy, a way of life. And just as homosexuality is more than just a sexual orientation. There is also another way of life, its own culture, to consider its own way and make life. This unique combination of yogic philosophy and gay lifestyle has been successfully in practice and can now be seen online and will be designed.

This blog provides you with a regular Theoretical basis of the yogic philosophy from appetizers to more diverse topics such as body, mind, soul, health and relaxation. Each supplemented by appropriate practical exercises that illustrate the content of each post and give you the opportunity to practice yoga alone. We are pleased also to welcome you with us in the groups.
